Our girls found a new way to win today - patience at the plate and hustle on the bases. With the score tied 2 - 2 after 5 innings, we hit, walked, and ran home 7 times in the last 2 innings.

Mary Zambello pitched a sharp 6-hitter with 2 K's and no walks! Edith Aromando caught and with Mary hustling in to cover the plate tagging out the runner trying to score, they executed a neat double-play on a 3rd strike for the final out of the inning. Edith also gunned down a runner attempting to steal 2B.

Karlee Biskup had 2 hits, a walk, and 2 RBI. Emma Seymour had 2 hits and scored. Edith had a hit, 2 walks, and scored 3 runs.
